Pilates is a system of exercises that consists of low-impact movements that promote flexibility as well as muscular strength and endurance. The exercises, which can be done on a mat or using special apparatus, are designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture – all while enhancing mental awareness.
Pilates Teacher-in-Training, Barbara Pamplin (Ohuninifa Fayemi) is offering free Beginning Mat Pilates classes to O.I.D.S.I. members, family, and friends.
