CrossFit gym with a USAW Barbell Club and Sports Performance training facility conveniently located in the Mountlake Terrace. We are looking for energetic trainers who understand the value of good movement to deliver the training to our members and who are looking to become a better version of themselves and a part of our community.

Hours Needed:
10-15 per week

Primary Responsibilities:
–Be energetic. Be motivating. Be encouraging. You set the tone … so you need to do it well. Building quality relationships with our members is important.

–Ensure basic facility upkeep expected of any trainer. Vacuum, mop and wipe down equipment as needed to keep the gym clean and ready for the next coach on duty.

–Be dependable and be on time.

–Contribute to making us a better facility! Share your ideas on programming, events and anything you feel will add to and enhance the value to our overall community.

–Attend monthly staff and coaching meetings. Participate in special events, challenges and community workouts. We encourage all coaches to attend at least 3-4 crossfit classes each month.

–Be responsible for assigned members group. Each coach is assigned a group of members to be their point of contact during membership. Duties entail weekly “atta boys” via text, fb or email and answering any general questions members may have.

–Ability to sign and retain members. Must be able to send and receive emails or phone calls to handle communication with potential or new members.

–Coaches are responsible for one monthly website blog post and one weekly instagram/fb picture or video with caption. Highlighting our member accomplishments is very important and only possible with the help of all coaches working together.

– – Potential for full-time management roll in the future.

–1+ years involved with CrossFit with a minimum of a CFL-1 (as a trainer OR as a participant)
–Good communication skills and patience. Ability to lead a class in a fast paced environment.
–High energy, charismatic disposition. Friendly and outgoing personality.
–A sense of humility and general passion for training and helping others. Ego’s need not apply.
