What people say about Pure Barre
“
I LOVE PURE BARRE!!!
Ever since a knee and a spine injury, I’ve been very cautious of the workouts that I do. I love that Pure Barre is so easy on the joints and there aren’t crazy movements involved. It’s always “up and inch, down and inch” and not a lot of wide range of motions. Also, if you tell your instructor of any injuries, she’ll show you any modifications and will check in during class to see how you’re doing.
I also love that the instructors do NOT call your name out to correct you but rather come by and show you the correct movements. They also turn the mic OFF when they’re talking to you which I think is very considerate (shy person over here).

I was super, super on the fence about barre, but then I took a class at Pure Barre and now I’m hooked. I had an amazing instructor who was super helpful during the whole thing and the workout itself is challenging, fun, and worthwhile.

I’ve been going here for barre classes for over a year, and I love it! I’ve tried most of the major barre studios in Seattle and what I love about Bohemian Studios is that you always leave with a good sweat and there isn’t a hugely predictable structure to the class. You know you’re going to get full-body workout, but they make each class challenging and varied.

I found Bohemian Studios because well, I live right across the street 😉 But had to try it out because it looked so damn cute!! I signed up for the $25 unlimited new student special and man–I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have tried other barre studios before, but Barre Bohemian is like no other!! It’s a mix of yoga, a boot camp type of thing, barre and its just so fun, chill and it also kicks your ass! Love the vibe, the music and the energy!! And it challenges me everytime!! I am done with my week pass this week, and then I am going to sign up to be a member!! Love it!! Thanks ladies for creating this amazing space/community! 🙂

Best barre studio ever. It’s huge windows make it so full of light and energy, they hire AMAZING childcare, everything is always sparkling clean, and everyone that works here is the best. And obviously the workout is killer. I brought my husband once and he couldn’t walk for three days.

“
I really enjoyed my first ever barre class! First, I consider myself an active person. I walk 3-5 miles everyday, lift weights, enjoy hot vinyasa flow, and also hike and ride horses. This workout left me sore in a good way! I never knew such little movements could make my muscles work so hard.
The decor is great here, they provide balls, weights and hand towels too. If you’re thinking about starting a fitness routine or just want to get fit, barre will do it and barre3 is a great studio to try!

I’ve been coming to The Bar Method for almost 3 years now and it never gets boring! Every day is just as challenging as the first day I took class. A friend took me to a class one day and I have to say it was hands down the hardest workout class I had ever taken. Ever since then I’ve been hooked! Not only did barre make my body stronger and healthier, it helped me be more positive and energetic too. The instructors, owners, and helpers at the front desk are always so friendly, kind, and extremely motivating. I’m so thankful to be a part of The Bar Method community!

Well stocked gym with lots of space. Hours and access are excellent and staff super friendly. No high pressure sales. Very affordable and a discount for university of Washington student and staff. The classes are great and many included. The staff and trainers know people by name and really seem to care and make the gym and classes a good experience. Always super clean and towels are provided. Only negative is that the bathrooms are across the hall and lockers room is a bit small but otherwise super happy with the gym and glad I joined

CompFit unlike most fitness classes I’d tried. In addition to great classes, the instructors actually know your name. Everyone in so friendly. We often go out for coffee after the morning fitness classes and wine or beer after evening dance classes. If you want not just workout but a community, then you have to try CompFit!

This place is so under-rated.
The instructors are so nice & welcoming and the classes are less intimidating than bigger gyms, and are still very good classes.
I’ve only done the Oula with Emily & Core & Barre with Eric, and I love it!
